ACS Healthcare Solutions is actively searching for a Technical Infrastructure Consultant to join our Security and Systems Integration team.  Our Security and Systems Integration team is made up of professionals that support the technical infrastructure of major medical centers around the country.  The Technical Infrastructure Consultant will work with our customers to design and implement major changes to the LAN/WAN/Telecommunication cabling infrastructure. 

Major Areas of Specialization

• Technical Project Management in the LAN/WAN/Telecom  infrastructure area
• Familiarity with California’s Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD), required but can be learned
• Basic AutoCAD skills
• Blueprint reading skills
• Advanced Visio skills, specific customer templates and stencils will be provided by me as needed
• Intermediate construction, electrical and mechanical design (HVAC) skills, enough to create RFP’s for construction trades and to inspect and assess their work
• General technical knowledge of LAN/WAN/Telco (primary) and Security (secondary) technologies, products and vendors
• Intermediate networking skills for Cisco equipment
• Ability to create/write RFP’s for network cabling, electrical construction, HVAC construction, and to scope work for general contractors. 

Major Duties & Responsibilities

Management of multiple technical infrastructure projects ranging from LAN/WAN Design/implementation, cabling (internal to buildings, on campus, and across streets), Telecom vendor mgmt, Security .

Required Experience & Education
10-15 years experience in managing technical infrastructure implementation projects, ideally in the California market.

Ability to interact and manage resources from ACS, client and vendors.
