Systems Engineer - Saint Joseph, MI

Our Outsourcing team is looking for a System Engineer to work with our client in Saint Joseph, MI.  This is a full time position with unlimited growth opportunities.  No relocation assistance is available for this position, thus candidates local to the Lakeland area will be given priority consideration. This is a non-travel position. 

Primary responsibilities for Systems Engineer position are addressing server, router and switch issues.  This includes troubleshooting calls assigned to the site by the remote network engineering team and performing adds/moves/changes network related systems. Prefer and optional skills that needed for this position include.

Networking

• Windows Networking
• Hardware – Routers, Switches
• LAN/WAN  experience
• Cisco IOS – CCNS preferred

Microsoft

• Windows 2000 Server OS
• Windows 2003 Server OS
• Citrix

Application Support – optional, but preferred

• Chartmaxx
• Nuance/Powerscribe
• Amicas/Pacs

General

• Excellent communication skills
• Assume role in on-call rotation
• Excellent documentation skills
• Team oriented

Education

• MCSE certified
• Citrix certified
• College degree or equivalent to 6-8 years experience

Other-preferred

• SAN/NAS
• SQL/Oracle DBA
• AIX UNIX
• Active Directory
• LINUX
• LDAP
