Site Executive (CIO), Lewiston, ME

Due to continued new business growth, ACS Healthcare’s Outsourcing organization currently has an executive level opportunity for a Site Executive (CIO) at one of our established client sites in Lewiston, ME.

This position will require relocation to Lewiston, ME. This is a 350 bed community based hospital facility with ongoing clinical transformation projects. This client demonstrates our commitment to measurable results at our full transformational outsourcing sites. This position will be working closely with Senior Executive leadership of ACS Healthcare and Outsourcing Executive Team.

Primary Job Functions

• Provides the information systems leadership.
• Participates with ACS-HCS in client relationship management
• Identify trends in information systems technologies and communicate their meanings & application to senior management
• Participate in overall business planning, bringing current information technology knowledge & future vision as related to client’s competitive position
• Help determine long-term enterprise-wide information needs, and develop overall strategy for information systems development, integration, and infrastructure acquisition
• Act to ensure integrity of corporate data through information security & access management.
• Act to ensure information systems compliance with healthcare regulatory requirements.
• Develop & maintain an IT oversight Information Technologies Steering Committee (ISSC) with other business units
• Work with ACS-HCS senior management, client senior management, and IT staff, to shape and develop the IT strategic plan to support and achieve the client’s corporate goals
• Develop the IT operating and capital budget, monitor performance to budget, implementing corrective action when required
• Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring the ACS-HCS operating and capital budget
• Establish performance goals with direct reports and monitor performance
• Work with ACS-HCS management and groups to successfully fulfill service level agreement (SLA) and service level specification (SLS) requirements
• Work with senior management to ensure successful completion of key IT enabled business & clinical initiatives
• Ensure IT service quality by developing IT service measures, monitoring against established benchmarks & targets, and intervening as required
• Maintain awareness of IT and healthcare trends for appropriate application within the client’s environment

Qualifications

• Candidate should have held Executive Level, CIO or VP level positions in the Healthcare Delivery IT and Management Services industry.

• Candidates must have proven ability to lead organizations through enterprise-wide clinical transformation, including cultural, organizational and technical aspects.
• Candidate should have extensive CIO experience in the healthcare provider market which includes 200-500 bed community-based hospital systems.
• Candidate must be experienced in establishing strong relationships with client senior level executives including board members.
• Candidate must also be adept in the technical aspects of outsourcing initiatives including data center and application hosting solutions.
• Candidate should have experience in managing fully outsourced client engagements.
• Candidate must be able to easily establish rapport with the client executives, board executives and technical management teams.
