Patient Access Revenue Cycle Consultant

Our Revenue Cycle Consulting organization currently has a direct fulltime opening for a Consultant with Patient Access experience. This is a travel position and no relocation is needed. 

MAJOR AREA(S) OF SPECIALIZATION

Patient Access and Revenue Cycle redesign  

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Redesign front end patient access processes to include best practices for scheduling, registration, admitting, financial clearance (pre-reg, insurance eligibility, medical necessity, upfront collections, etc.) as well as project management.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

Must have previous consulting experience with patient access redesign, scheduling, financial clearance development, project management, and overall knowledge of best practices regarding hospital revenue cycle processes.  Masters preferred as well as certification in NAHAM (National Association of Healthcare Access Managers).  Must be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Project.
