Technical Director ACS Healthcare Solutions Farmington Hills, MI

The outsourcing team at ACS Healthcare Solutions is seeking a technical director to work with our client in Farmington Hills, MI. This is a full-time, non-travel position. No relocation assistance is available, thus candidates local to the Farmington Hills area will be given priority consideration.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include managing technical support staff and the technical environment. Technical support staff includes: three field engineers, three network engineers, and one site coordinator. Technical environment includes local data center, desktops (1400), printers (400) and network infrastructure, which includes both core LAN and multiple WAN sites. Need to coordinate the support efforts between remote data center, network support team and help desk. Manage technical service level agreements. Position also requires ability to work with project managers to support existing applications and to provide technical assistance to new application deployments.

Required Experience & Education

BS degree in Computer Science or computer related studies
Certification as a Microsoft Certified Professional/Trainer desirable.

Five plus years of experience as technical support manager
